The LDC pays special attention to socially oriented projects based on the production of goods or services and which, through a formal entrepreneurial approach, strive for self-financing.

If your project contributes to stimulating the social economy, your LDC can help you carrying it out provided that it meets certain criteria, including the following:

• It contributes to implementing a local development plan;
• Its purpose is to produce goods or deliver services intended for the members of an organisation or for the community, and its demonstrates the need for such goods or services;
• It allows to create meaningful, long-term and quality jobs;
• It generates internal revenues which, added to the other income sources of your enterprise, allow to ensure the sustainability of these jobs;
• It contributes to creating a new enterprise or a new service within a social organisation.
